The two top brand (and expensive) grinders I own left chunks of bean no matter how long I kept the machine going. I would get coffee that was gound too fine, with chunks. The reviews here convinced me to try this one and I am very pleased. The measuring capability, grind selection features and the removable water tank are great. There are no chunks left after grinding. There might be some coffee fallout when I transfer to the coffeemaker, but I've never seen a coffee grinder that did otherwise. I keep it handy rather than stuck away on a top shelf.
