We actually returned this grinder, because it's just a fancy mill grinder...the other Mr. Coffee Burr grinder (not made anymore?) was MUCH better. I found one on ebay and still have it. This is just a mess to use. Don't bother.

I bought this to go along with a French press. The grinder sits perfectly on the counter. Simply select the number of cups of coffee you are going to make, then select how you want the beans ground and click the button to start. After a few seconds you can pull the top off the grinder and pour the beans into the coffee pot.

I have owned this grinder for several months an have found it to be a very good product. Several reviewers noted the "extremely short cord", I thought so too until the other day I decided to futz with it. Aha! I found that there is more cord VERY tightly wrapped around the interior of the base. Mystery solved!!I love flavored coffee so the fact that you can wash the grinder cup is FANTASTIC. The "cleaning system" does'nt scrape the bottom so I just use a pasrty brush to get all of the grounds out. The pour spout is not that great coffee tends to stick to the ridges on the inside of the pour spouts top, so again the trusty pastry brush to the rescue. It's noisy and scares the dog but most grinders are thats the nature of the beast. All in all this is a great little grinder,and for a clean freak like myself.... perfect.

You can't go wrong with this inexpensive coffee grinder. Unless you need something that is industrial strength, or are constantly grinding huge amounts of expresso coffee, this item will do a great job for you.

I didn't care for the lights always being on, but other than that, I would give it quite high marks. The next step up from this model would be Capresso Infinity Burr Coffee grinder, for $90.

You can set it to grind as much as you need to make coffee or you can grind up a lb. It's light weight and little enough to fit anywhere. The clean-up is easy. I highly recomend this coffee grinder.
