I had this grinder for a year before giving it away to a friend. I think that it does do a great job at grinding (but it's loud--I felt like I was waking up everyone in the teacher dorm each morning I used it!!) and all the different settings seem to yield appropriate grind sizes. The problem I had with it was the cleanup. The main reason I think I had problems was that the manual said not to use any beans with flavors...the flavored coffee beans leave a residue that is a little difficult to clean out. So that is my own fault but shouldn't a grinder be compatible with flavored beans? I think so! The other negative aspect was the fact that the "handy" pour spout was not handy at all. I would need to use a garbage can to ensure I was not going to dump coffee grounds all over the counter or even myself! It was still difficult to get all the grounds out without opening up the grinder and then I would still end up getting a little bit of the grounds on the counter. This could be significantly improved. One last thing...the cord doesn't really stay wrapped up very well. I think a model with a retractable cord would be better. I think I got mine for $15 at Wal-Mart.
